L'adoption en décembre 2022 de la directive européenne sur le reporting de durabilité (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, CSRD) a été un moment charnière pour l'Union européenne. La directive garantit la normalisation des rapports et une transparence accrue des entreprises en les obligeant à rendre compte de leurs impacts, risques et opportunités environnementaux et sociaux. Elle vise à étendre le reporting des entreprises en matière d'enjeux de durabilité et à lutter contre les abus au sein des chaînes d'approvisionnement mondiales. 

La GRI a conçu une nouvelle série de ressources gratuites et accessibles à toutes et tous afin de mieux appréhender la directive, 'CSRD Essentials'. Élaborés en 6 mois sur l'initiative et avec le soutien du député européen Pascal Durand, cette série propose d'approfondir les implications et les aspects pratiques de la CSRD, et de fournir des informations précieuses aux régulateurs et aux parties prenantes, tout en réfléchissant à sa mise en œuvre et à son opérabilité avec les standards mondiaux. Les 'CSRD Essentials' seront présentés à l'occasion de cet événement.

The adoption of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) in December 2022 marks a pivotal moment for the EU: under this directive, companies are mandated to report on their environmental and social impact, ensuring standardized reporting and transparency. This initiative aims not only to expand the boundaries of sustainability reporting, but also to address abuses within global supply chains. With over 130 countries worldwide enforcing sustainability reporting, the CSRD also aligns with other relevant global standards.

In this regard GRI has designed a free series of briefings, the CSRD Essentials. Crafted over six months on the initiative and with the support of MEP Pascal Durand, they outline key features of the Directive, fostering deeper comprehension and engagement for companies and stakeholders worldwide. The CSRD Essentials will be presented at the event.
